Nauyaca Falls is a two tier set of falls with an enormous swimming hole located at the bottom of the second set. The best way to see the falls is to take Don Lulo's Tour via horseback from the highway to the falls. The tour starts early in the morning where you are treated to a typical Costa Rican breakfast which includes Pinto Gallo(rice and beans). After breakfast you ride your horse to the top of the falls and descend a staircase to the majestic falls. Your guide will assist you in climbing up into the falls to make a leap of faith to the waiting pool below. After a few hours at the falls, you head back up the staircase to your waiting mount. On the way back everyone stops at the house of Don Lulo to enjoy a typical Costa Rican lunch before returning to the highway. Nauyaca Falls are a must see if you are in the area.
